From the bottle:
An intense, full-flavored Zinfandel made using exceptional fruit sourced from some of the oldest vines in California, this Old Vine Zinfandel has rich blackberry and black cherry aromas, jammy fruit flavors with a hint of black peppercorn, balanced by complex French and American oak toast.
Perfect Pairing: Try with braised short ribs, chicken enchiladas or a meaty burger.
Lodi has an ideal climate for growing exceptional grapes. Warm summer days and cool nighttime breezes from the ocean yield intense & full-flavored fruit.
14.5% Alcohol
The 2018 Member’s Mark Old Vine Zinfandel begins with a pleasing aroma of jammy blackberry, plum, licorice, a little bramble and vanilla. The wine tastes nicely rich and spicy, perhaps just a tad bit sweet, but smooth and with nice depth of flavor. This is a really easy to drink Zin that gets even better as it has some air. It ends dry and long. Lodi is almost always a reliable spot for quality Zinfandel and this one from Sam’s Club offers great value.
