The 2019 Member's Mark Sauvignon Blanc begins with a pleasing, fresh aroma full of tropical fruit and citrus along with a little grassiness. The wine tastes crisp and zesty with similar flavors to the nose. It's fairly one dimensional but has a really nice depth of flavor on the fruit and will surely be crowd pleasing stuff. It ends dry and with good length.
As we make our way through some of these Sam's Club Member's Mark private label wines, it's hard not to compare them to Costco's private label, Kirkland Signature. When we do that we find that while this is a good, basic Sauvignon Blanc, it doesn't quite offer the quality that Costco's Kirkland Signature Ti Point version does at the same price. That's a pretty high bar; however, and this wine is definitely still a pretty good bang for your buck at only $7.
