The 2016 Mud Pie Petite Sirah opens with a wonderfully integrated aroma of blackberry, spice and licorice along with touches of dried herbs and vanilla.
The wine tastes big, chewy and delicious! Rich, dense and tannic in the mouth the dark berry fruit flavors in this wine go deep and just like the nose and are integrated wonderfully with spice and licorice. Some lovely notes of dried herbs lead into the dry, grippy, long and satisfying finish.
If you like big, chewy wines you'll love this. Yummy!
