The 2017 Parker Station Pinot Noir is classic Pinot Noir right from the get-go with pleasing aromas of earthy black cherry, cola, bits of baking spice, pepper and cedar. The wine tastes smooth and medium-bodied and is full of red and black cherry plus cranberry. All the accents from the nose also make a return appearance in the mouth.
This is a well made wine with enough complexity to keep it interesting while still being quite quaffable. It develops even more as it has time in the glass so give it plenty of time to breathe or save half the bottle to how it evolves on day two. It ends dry and long with lots of lingering sweet fruit and cola plus hints of tobacco.
