The 2018 Pianeta Organico Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie begins with a bit shy but pleasing aroma of pear and green apple with lots of lemon and lime and a touch of honeysuckle. Shy flavors are not an issue on the palate where you'll find plenty of juicy fruit similar to the nose with a streak of tropical fruits as well. A bit of salty minerality and a pleasing viscosity add complexity and enjoyment. It ends crisp and refreshing with a lasting, zesty finish. This is just a really well done Pinot Grigio at this low of a price, plus it comes in a neat little bottle.
