A wonderful Cab from Paso Robles, the Rabble Cabernet Sauvignon.

Rabble Cabernet Sauvignon – Smooth and Harmonious

Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mossfire vineyard in Paso Robles, California. The wine is aged 10 months in 15% new French oak and 85% neutral barrels.

Sample submitted for review. The wine has an SRP of $27 but is available for as low as $16. Like the other Rabble wines, it’s got a pretty cool augmented reality label too.

The 2018 Rabble Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a very enticing aroma of black cherry and blackberry along with harmonious baking spice and vanilla notes.

Tasting reveals a smooth and very tasty Cab with great structure and balance. Featuring nice touches of spice, vanilla, cola, tobacco and more throughout, this is quite enjoyable and it gets even better as it has some time to breathe.

It ends dry, a bit leathery and quite long. This is a wonderful Cabernet.
