The 2017 Toad Hollow Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a wonderful aroma of berry fruit intermingled with spice, licorice, mint, vanilla, a touch of cola and more. The wine tastes delicious and is filled with lots of tart and juicy dark berry fruit and more nicely integrated spice. The medium to full-bodied wine also features soft tannins, a smooth mouthfeel and great balance. The wine ends dry and very long with lots more dark fruit and some of the lighter touches from the nose (like mint and cola) re-appearing as the wine lingers for a good while in the mouth. Delicious and easy to drink, this one is toadally tasty!
