The 2019 Vento di Mare Nerello Mascalese Terre Siciliane IGP opens with a very bright and pleasing fresh berry and sour cherry aroma with touches of leather, balsamic and eucalyptus.
The medium-bodied wine tastes smooth and easy to drink and features similar flavors to the nose. It's a bit one dimensional with the focus on the sour, juicy fruit but it's still quite good, especially for the price.
It ends with a dry, medium-long finish.
