The 2018 Yalumba Organic Shiraz opens with a pleasing aroma of black cherry, plums, a little leather, a bit of spice and some pleasant floral notes. Those fruit notes turn a bit tarter of the palate and have great depth of flavor. There are also some additional cranberry and mulberry notes along with smooth, soft tannins in this tasty, medium-bodied wine. It ends dry, savory and long.
