The 2019 Cultusboni Colmaia Organic Sangiovese opens with pleasing aromas of cherry and other red berry flavors plus a bit of a savory herb component.
Tasting reveals a really fresh and tasty Sangiovese that is super easy to drink. Full of tart, fleshy red fruit with licorice notes and a bit of earthiness, it also has a touch of that distinctive rustic edge you so often find in Sangiovese/Chianti.
It ends dry and with good length. This is very enjoyable!
