Emma Reichart Pinot Noir Rosé - Too Easy

By: Jon Thorsen Published: July 6, 2022 Last Updated: November 23, 2022

Highly refreshing for just $4.99 from Trader Joe's, the Emma Reichart Pinot Noir Rosé.

Emma Reichart Rosé - Too Easy

A Pinot Noir rosé wine from Germany.

This wine is available exclusively at Trader Joe's and sells for just $4.99. It is imported by Schafer-Reichart Selections

    From the bottle:

This cool-climate Pinot Noir Rosé is crafted from grapes cultivated by small, independent growers in the tradition of Emma Reichart, our family's matriarch.

Elegant rose petal pink in the glass, this rosé has refreshing notes of tart cherry, red currant and a touch of watermelon. Derived from cool-climate Pinot Noir grapes, this wine has a clean, dry and crisp style that makes it a delightful complement to goat cheese, salads, and seafood, or simply enjoy as a sipping wine. Serve lightly chilled.

    12% Alcohol

The 2020 Emma Reichart Rosé opens with a simple but attractive aroma of strawberry, red cherry and watermelon.

Taking a sip reveals a fresh, crisp, dry and pretty tasty wine for just $4.99. This is quite quaffable, in fact, with similar flavors to the nose plus a little tart citrus in the mouth. There's nothing not to like here.

It ends with a dry, crisp, medium length finish.

Just like the excellent Emma Reichart Dry Riesling we previously reviewed (which is also only $5), this is an easy choice for the price and fabulous pick for summer.

2020 Emma Reichart Pinot Noir Rosé

    Taste: 7 (87-88 points)       Cost: 10
    OVERALL RATING: 7.8
