Last Updated on August 2, 2025

A hypersonic trip to delicious, the Space Age Grenache Rosé from Grounded Wine Company.

Space Age Rosé - Rocket to Refreshment

Grenache rosé from vineyards in Paso Robles and Monterey County of the Central Coast, California.

Sample submitted for review. The Space Age Rosé has an SRP of $15 and is available for as low as $14. Only 2,000 cases produced.

From the winery:

On the night of July 20, 1969, we stared at the moon and listened to the radio chatter of the Apollo 11 astronauts. Once voice boomed back to the listeners on Earth declaring, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” This brand focuses on the emotions at play during the American Space Age, producing a grounded authenticity that speaks of the wine inside.

The 2018 Space Age Grenache Rosé begins with enticing notes of cherry, watermelon, strawberry and a little bit of a floral note. Juicy and fresh in the mouth, this is a really enjoyable wine! You’ll also find crisp acidity, a smooth, pleasing texture and just a hint of minerality in this dry, flavorful rosé. It ends dry with lots of tart and tangy fruit on the long, mouthwatering finish. A hypersonic trip to delicious, I love it.
