Today's wine carries the Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT designation, meaning that it comes from the northern parts of Italy near the Dolomite Mountains. It's a fantastic area to visit both for the wine and the amazing sights.
The 2018 Terra Alpina Pinot Grigio Dolomiti begins with quite an intriguing and enticing aroma of green apple, citrus, lemon, tropical fruit, honeysuckle and a bit of a spicy note. Taking a sip reveals a smooth and tasty wine with a vibrant mouthfeel and nice depth of flavor. It features similar flavors to the nose with the nice spicy note continuing in the mouth. It ends with a long, pleasing finish with all the flavors from the palate lingering for quite a good while. This is delicious Pinot Grigio that is both very refreshing and very satisfying.
