Kanonkop Kadette
Your marching orders? Drink this wine! 44% Pinotage, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc from Stellenbosch, South Africa and aged in barrel for 12-14 months!
Snoqualmie Whistle Stop Red
Hop on board the value train! Next up on our list of 10 Great Red Wine Blends Under $10 is the first of three wines from Washington State. This blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot comes from the Columbia Valley and was aged an incredible 16 months in French and American oak barrels!
Campo Arriba
Make like Speedy Gonzales and grab a few bottles of this wine at Costco while you can! 70% Monastrell (Mourvedre), 20% Syrah and 10% Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet) from Yecla, Spain.
Confidencial Reserva Tinto
This is a unique one on our list of 10 Great Red Wine Blends Under $10 -- an age-worthy $8 wine (if you're lucky enough to find it at your local Costco)! A field blend of many different varieties, but primarily Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinta Roriz from Lisboa, Portugal.
Waterbrook Melange
Another great example of the amazing value to be found in Washington wine for right around $10. 45% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 7% Sangiovese, 6% Petit Verdot, 5% Syrah, 3% Zinfandel and 1% Tempranillo from vineyards throughout the Columbia Valley. It spends 11 months in American oak barrels.
Santa Julia Reserva Mountain Blend
Much more than Malbec, this blend of 70% Malbec and 30% Cabernet Franc from Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina spends a delicious 10 months in French oak barrels.
Columbia Crest H3 Les Chevaux Red
This blend of 59% Merlot, 36% Syrah, 4% Viognier and 1% Cabernet Franc from Horse Heaven Hills, Washington is sure to bring home the win! Aged an incredible 17 months in French and American oak barrels.
Soraie Veneto Cecilia Beretta
