Lodi Wine! The Best Wines From Lodi

Lodi, in the Central Valley of California between Sacramento and Stockton, has a growing reputation for producing excellent wines from all kinds of different varieties. Best known for their extremely old-vine Zinfandel, nowadays the area has quite a stunning variety of grapes being grown.

As we mentioned in our trip recap, winemakers here have a bit of a chip on their shoulder, and for good reason. Producing 25% of the state's grapes, until the last couple decades the Lodi appellation rarely appeared on wine labels.

That has all changed as of late and luckily for Reverse Wine Snobs while prices have gone up, this region remains very affordable for the most part.
